These terms cover your use of Game Spotter (the "site"). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We try to keep this plain and readable rather than burying it in legalese.

What Game Spotter is

Game Spotter is a price comparison site for PC games in the UK. We gather prices and product information from a range of third party stores and show them in one place so you can compare. We are not a shop. We don't sell games, we don't hold stock, and we don't process your payment. When you decide to buy, you do that on the retailer's own website under their terms.

Prices and accuracy

We pull prices from store feeds and update them regularly, but prices and availability change constantly. The price you see on a retailer's site at checkout is the one that counts. We do our best to keep things current and accurate, but we can't guarantee that every price, discount, or stock status on the site is correct at the exact moment you look. Always double check the final price on the store's site before you buy.

Affiliate links

Some of our links to stores are affiliate links. If you click through and buy something, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes the price you pay and it never affects how we rank or present a deal. We explain this in full in our affiliate disclosure.

Third party stores

We list both authorised retailers and third party key marketplaces. We are not responsible for the stores we link to, their content, their stock, their customer service, or any purchase you make with them. Any issue with an order, a key, a refund, or delivery is between you and that retailer. Using the site fairly

You're welcome to browse, search, and set price alerts. You may not scrape the site at scale, hammer it with automated requests, try to break it, or republish our data as your own. Basically, don't be a pain, and don't try to copy the whole thing.

Our content

The design, layout, guides, and original content on Game Spotter belong to us. Game names, cover art, and store logos belong to their respective owners and are shown for the purpose of comparison and identification.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or from buying through a store we link to, including a price being out of date or a retailer letting you down. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version always lives on this page with the date at the top.
