Great PC Games Going Cheap Right Now (June 2026)
A few genuinely brilliant games are sitting at some of their lowest prices right now, and a couple of them are absolute no-brainers.
Mid-June and there are some properly decent games going cheap right now. Not filler stuff either. We're talking games people still play hundreds of hours into. Worth a look if your backlog isn't already embarrassing enough.
Cyberpunk 2077 - Yes, It's Actually Good Now
Remember launch? Forget launch. Cyberpunk 2077 in its current state, with the Phantom Liberty expansion and years of patches behind it, is one of the best open world RPGs on PC. Night City is stunning, the writing is sharp, and V's story genuinely lands. It had a rough start and CD Projekt Red spent years fixing it, but they got there. Currently going cheap at HRKGame, which is a grey-market key site, so worth knowing before you buy. Keys work fine in our experience, just not an official storefront.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Still the Standard
If you somehow haven't played it, now's the time. The Witcher 3 is still the game people point to when they want to explain what a proper RPG feels like. The world is dense, the side quests are better than most games' main stories, and the next-gen update made it look fantastic. Also at HRKGame right now, well below its usual price. Grab the Complete Edition if you can, the Blood and Wine expansion alone is worth it.
Hollow Knight - Tiny Price, Enormous Game
Hollow Knight is one of those games that quietly consumes your weekend. It's a metroidvania set in a crumbling insect kingdom underground, and it's absolutely gorgeous in a bleak, melancholy way. The combat is precise, the exploration is rewarding, and there's a staggering amount of content for what you pay. Team Cherry charged almost nothing for it to begin with. At its current discounted price it's basically a gift. No brainer.
Satisfactory - For the Builder-Brained Among Us
If you've ever looked at a factory floor and thought "I could optimise that", Satisfactory will ruin your evenings. You crash-land on an alien planet and spend the rest of the game building increasingly absurd automated production lines. It's funny, it's relaxing in a chaotic sort of way, and the first-person perspective makes it feel much more alive than top-down builders. It hit full release not long ago and it's currently on sale. Genuinely one of the best in its genre.
Dark Souls Remastered - If You've Never Done It
Look, it's hard. You will die a lot. But Dark Souls is one of the most influential games ever made for a reason. The world design is extraordinary, every area connects to every other in ways that still impress people who've played it multiple times, and the feeling when something finally clicks is unlike anything else. The remaster is a decent way to play it on modern hardware. It's well below its usual price right now and if you've been putting it off, this is a fine excuse to stop doing that.
A few honourable mentions: RimWorld is also going cheap and it's an absolute time sink if colony management is your thing. And Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition remains one of the best strategy games ever made, currently sitting well below its usual price too.
None of these are impulse buys you'll regret. They're all games with serious hours behind them. Check the live prices on each page before you commit, especially the HRKGame ones where stock and pricing can shift quickly.
