Great Games Going Cheap Right Now (June 2026)
A solid handful of genuinely brilliant PC games are heavily discounted right now, and a few of them are too good to scroll past.
Right, some proper games are sitting at low prices this weekend and it felt wrong not to flag them up. Not filler stuff either. We're talking games with hundreds of hours in them, games people still talk about years after launch. Here are the ones I'd actually spend money on.
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the cheapest it's been
Look, we all remember the launch. It was a mess. But that was years ago and CD Projekt Red spent a long time fixing it. Night City is now one of the best open worlds on PC, full stop. The Phantom Liberty expansion is excellent, the gunplay is satisfying, and the story has some genuinely memorable moments. If you still haven't played it because of the launch disaster, now is a good time to stop holding the grudge. It's going cheap right now at HRKGame, which is a grey-market key site, so worth knowing before you buy. Most people have no issues, but go in with eyes open.
The Witcher 3 never really stops being worth playing
This one comes up in sales constantly and it still earns its place every single time. If you somehow haven't played it, the next-gen update made it look and run brilliantly on modern hardware. The two expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, are as good as the base game. Probably better, honestly. Currently well below its usual price at HRKGame. Grab it.
Lies of P is the soulslike that actually delivered
There are a lot of games that call themselves soulslike and then fumble it. Lies of P is not one of them. It's a proper, confident game built around a Pinocchio horror setting that sounds daft but works brilliantly. The combat is tight, the world is atmospheric, and it has its own identity rather than just aping Elden Ring. It came out in 2023 and still doesn't get enough attention. Going cheap right now at HRKGame, and absolutely worth it if you like the genre.
Total War: Warhammer III is a brilliant strategy game at a fraction of what it cost at launch
The Total War Warhammer trilogy is one of the best things Creative Assembly has ever made, and the third entry is the most ambitious of the lot. Enormous campaign map, loads of factions, and the Immortal Empires mode (which you unlock if you own the earlier games) is basically an infinite sandbox. It's the kind of game that eats weekends. Currently heavily discounted at HRKGame. If you're into grand strategy or just want to send a vampire-led undead army into Chaos territory, this is your game.
Monster Hunter Wilds is on sale and it's the best the series has ever been
Wilds came out earlier this year and it's already one of the best co-op games on PC. The monster fights are spectacular, the world reacts to weather and ecosystems in ways that feel genuinely alive, and the loop of hunt, craft, upgrade is as compelling as ever. It's on sale at Green Man Gaming, which is a fully authorised retailer, so no concerns there. If you've got a mate or two to play with, this one is a no-brainer right now.
A few others worth a quick look
- No Man's Sky has had years of free updates and is in a great state. Good for chill exploration sessions.
- Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is one of the greatest strategy games ever made and it's going cheap at Green Man Gaming. Genuinely timeless.
There's no weak link in that list, honestly. The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk are obvious picks if you've somehow missed them. Lies of P is the one I'd push hardest for people who already own the big names and want something a bit different. Check the live prices on each page before you commit, because these deals move fast.
