Games Worth Grabbing Right Now: June 2026 Deals Round-Up

A few genuinely good games have dropped to some of their lowest prices in a while, and a couple of them are well worth your time.

Right, so a few things have gone cheap at once and some of them are actually worth caring about. Not everything on sale deserves your money, but a handful of these are proper bargains on games that hold up. Here's what I'd actually spend my cash on right now.

Returnal is one of the cheapest it's been on PC

This one keeps getting slept on and I genuinely don't know why. Returnal is a roguelike third-person shooter that punishes you relentlessly, then pulls you back for another run before you've even had time to be annoyed about dying. The atmosphere is brilliant, the gunplay feels fantastic, and the story is properly strange in a way that rewards patience. It came to PC a while back and the port is solid. If you've got a decent rig, this is the version to play. Green Man Gaming is a grey-market key shop rather than a publisher-direct store, worth knowing, but it's well established and most people have no issues. At the price it's sitting at right now, there's no real excuse to keep skipping it.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is heavily discounted and deserves a second look

Rogue Trader had a bit of a rough launch. Bugs, balance issues, the usual Owlcat stuff. But they've patched it substantially since then, and what's underneath is a genuinely meaty CRPG set in a part of the 40K universe that rarely gets proper attention. You're a Rogue Trader, which means you're powerful, morally flexible, and operating in the far reaches of the Imperium where the rules are more like suggestions. If you liked Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, this scratches a similar itch. Also on Green Man Gaming, also a grey-market key, same deal as above.

Board game fans, Zatu has a load of good stuff cheap right now

Zatu is a legit UK board game retailer, not grey market at all, and they've got several well-regarded games sitting well below their usual prices at the moment. A few worth highlighting:

  • Wingspan is one of the most approachable strategy games going. You're building a bird sanctuary, which sounds soft, but the engine-building is genuinely satisfying and it looks gorgeous on the table. Great for people who don't usually do heavy strategy games.
  • Terraforming Mars is the opposite end of the spectrum. This one takes commitment. You're a corporation competing to make Mars habitable, and there are a lot of moving parts. It rewards repeated plays and it's a classic for a reason. If you've been curious, now's a good time to find out what the fuss is about.
  • Root is an asymmetric war game that looks like a children's book and plays nothing like one. Every faction has completely different rules and win conditions, which sounds annoying but is actually what makes it so replayable. Fair warning: the rulebook is a lot. Watch a playthrough before you sit down with new players.
  • Sky Team is a two-player co-op where you and a partner are landing a plane using dice, without being allowed to talk about your dice. It's tense, quick, and genuinely fun. Good shout if you want something for two people that isn't just another card game.

What I'd skip

Marathon is on the list and it's going cheap at Green Man Gaming, but I'd hold off. It's Bungie's extraction shooter and the reception has been mixed. Worth watching, not worth jumping on yet in my opinion. Let it cook a bit longer and see where the community lands on it.

The board game bargains at Zatu are the most straightforward wins here. Legit retailer, good stock, and several genuinely excellent games at prices that make sense to pull the trigger. Returnal and Rogue Trader are both worth it if you're comfortable with GMG. Check the live prices on each listing before you commit, things shift quickly.
